A little about my musical journey.....
I discovered the joy of playing music at quite a young age, learning both the piano and violin.
Having passed the Associated Board (ABRSM) Grade 8 for both instruments during my school days, I then went on to study music full time at The University of Sheffield where I enjoyed learning from some amazing and talented musicians and tutors.
It was here that I took up playing the viola in order to form a string quartet. I also enjoyed accompanying my friends on the piano during their recitals and performances, and started teaching my first pupils.
I now live in the village of Heighington, 4 miles south-east of Lincoln centre with my husband, who is also very musical, and our two young children (who are both learning the piano). I have a busy family life, but still find time to play the piano everyday. I work hard to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and piano repertoire, attending webinars, workshops, courses and seminars on a regular basis.I am a full member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA).
